7:00 am.-   Breakfast

 

7:30 am.- Lunch´s bag share out and departure

In the morning we´ll visit the Boquer Valley, a fine place to watch birds. Located in Puerto Pollensa. After we leave the car in the parking, we go to the private estate of Boquer, which we´ll pass the most quickly and discretely as possible and not linger on the private property.
Once through the second gate, we follow the path that takes us between two large rocks. We find a spectacular landscape. Increasing urbanization has changed the face of the foot of the valley, but the area past the private estate remains intact.

Here we find some interesting birds like The Blue Rock Trush, the Cirl Bunting and specially an endemic bird of Mallorca , the Balearic Warbler, very common in this area.

 

14:00 pm.- Lunch and departure to the Formentor´s peninsula.

We stop in a viewpoint(Mirador) where spectacular pictures can be taken. Afterwards we return on the road and continue to the Formentor´s lighthouse.
We´ll make a short stop to look for forest birds, like the Firecrest and the Crossbill.

About 2 km. further along the road there´s a parking area. Peregrine and Eleonora´s falcons may be seen on the cliffs.

 

19.00 pm.- Return back to the hotel.

 

20.00.- Dinner and chat.
